Program Description:

SIT Study Abroad Jordan: Intensive Arabic Language Studies (Summer)

Develop and expand Arabic language competency in speaking, reading, and writing Modern Standard Arabic and Jordanian colloquial Arabic. Appropriate for all skill levels, this program offers intensive immersion through classroom instruction, field exercises, and homestays in an Arabic-only environment. Rapidly improve your speaking and comprehension while engaging with Jordanian and Arab culture. Educational excursions outside Amman reveal Jordan’s cultural heritage and natural beauty, including a five-day journey to Wadi Rum, Ajloun, Jerash, and Petra.

Please visit the SIT Study Abroad website for details on the program highlights and details of coursework, educational excursions, and housing.

HEAR FROM A FORMER STUDENT
"In Jordan I was able to meet some amazing people and do some amazing things. Before the trip I could not speak a lick of Arabic but by the end I could have a steady conversation with people in the city. After our classes the students all went into the city to buy stuff, eat, or just hang out. It was a great environment, great people, and great food."
