Infectious Disease Updates

Coronavirus Update: The International Education Center remains vigilant in its pursuit of safety and security as our students travel abroad.  We will continue to monitor and distribute any information and advice from the US State Department, the Center for Disease Control, the University System of Georgia, and our in-country partners.

COVID Vaccine Required by some providers and host nations
Georgia College does not require COVID-19 vaccination, however, participants must adhere to the vaccine & testing requirements of their destination(s). Failure to comply with local vaccine or testing requirements may impact a student’s participation on this program.  Please note that these requirements can change at any time and that Georgia College has no authority over international entry & exit requirements. The following destinations require the COVID-19 Vaccine for entry. Please see the COVID-19 advice page for the embassy of your destination(s)  and/or transit nations – note, if you are visiting more than one destination, you will need to visit the embassy website for each destination.

The following countries currently prohibit entry of unvaccinated U.S. citizens:
Chile
France
Germany
Netherlands
